The Atlanta Community Press Collective was founded in 2021 to provide independent media coverage of social justice movements in Atlanta. We grew from an all-volunteer organization to a 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization and expanded our scope to cover stories impacting Atlantans’ safety and well-being. We believe that those who are most impacted by what happens on the news should have access to news that is honest, accurate, responsive to their needs and reflective of their experience.
