Hundreds gathered Thursday in Liberty Plaza across from the Gold Dome in Downtown Atlanta to protest the Trump administration. This was part of a nationwide protest that included over 1,000 cities.

The “Stop the Billionaire Agenda” May Day protest was part rally and part march. Labor organizers with the Union of Southern Service Workers and the Coalition of Black Trade Unionists, including workers from Atlanta-area Starbucks and Waffle Houses, took center stage during the rally in a program focused on workers’ rights and pay.

Protesters marched around Downtown from Liberty Plaza to the Immigration and Customs Enforcement field office and ended at Atlanta City Hall.
