- Atlanta Radio Control Club
- Oral history holds that the field was "given" to the RC club on a handshake agreement by the county. Legally, it appears that it did remain under county ownership until it was given to Shadowbox Studios and then Ryan Millsap in the 2021 land swap.
- The RC club is opposed to the land swap as they claim that the new parkland is not suitable for a flying field. However, they have often expressed opposition to the Defend the Forest and Stop Stop City movements.
